GENERAL INFORMATION

Prevention

At removal of a tip of steering draft it is necessary to use a stripper of spherical hinges. At installation it is necessary to use new самоконтрящуюся a nut of fastening of the spherical hinge of a tip of steering draft.

Removal of the spherical hinge of a tip of steering draft from a rack of a forward suspension bracket

PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. In the presence take off a wheel cap, then weaken bolts of fastening of a forward wheel. Tighten the emergency brake, then lift a forward part of the car and fix on supports. Remove the corresponding forward wheel.

2. Weaken the bolt clamping a tip of steering thirst for the carving regulator of steering draft (see rice. The bottom view on a tip of steering draft).

3. Unscrew самоконтрящуюся the nut fixing the spherical hinge of a tip of steering thirst for a rack of a forward suspension bracket.

4. Using a stripper of spherical hinges, take a pin of the spherical hinge of a tip of steering draft from a rack of a forward suspension bracket (see rice. Removal of the spherical hinge of a tip of steering draft from a rack of a forward suspension bracket).

5. Using paint or an adhesive tape, note an arrangement of a tip of steering draft on the carving regulator. It is also possible to count number of rounds of a carving on the acting part of the carving regulator. Unscrew a tip from steering draft.

6. The tip of the right steering draft is marked by a letter R, and the tip of the left steering draft has no marking.

Installation

PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Screw a tip of steering draft on the carving regulator in the same situation, as before removal.

2. Establish a pin of the spherical hinge of a tip of steering draft on a rack of a forward suspension bracket and fix new самоконтрящейся by a nut, having tightened it the required moment.

3. Tighten the bolt clamping a tip of steering draft.

4. Establish a wheel and lower the car on the earth. Tighten bolts of fastening of a wheel the required moment.

5. Check and, if necessary, adjust the angles of installation of forward wheels.
