PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. On models with SOHC engines removal of shock-absorbers needs to be made in turn. You make replacement of shock-absorbers in pairs on one axis of the car.
2. On models with system of adjustment of rigidity of a back suspension bracket take off pressure in system for what let out the air via the valve in the luggage compartment.
3. Working in the luggage compartment, uncover, closing the top fastening of the shock-absorber. On the Hatchback models for access to the right shock-absorber uncover, closing office for storage of the first-aid kit and a sign of an emergency stop.
4. Unscrew a nut of the top fastening of the shock-absorber, at the same time hold a shock-absorber rod from a provorachivaniye the second wrench (see rice. Unscrewing of the top fastening of the back shock-absorber). Remove a washer and a rubber element of the top fastening of the shock-absorber.
5. Install the car over a viewing hole. Alternatively lift a back part of the car and fix on supports. At the same time support by a jack the corresponding lever of a back suspension bracket.
6. In the presence, working under a back part of the car, disconnect the air duct of system of the self-leveled back suspension bracket from the shock-absorber.
7. Unscrew the bolt fixing the lower part of the shock-absorber to the longitudinal lever of a back suspension bracket (on models with SOHC engines), or to the diagonal lever (on models with DOHC engines) (see rice. Unscrewing of a bolt of the lower fastening of the shock-absorber).
8. On models with the SOHC engine manually squeeze the shock-absorber and take it from the longitudinal lever of a back suspension bracket.
9. Take the shock-absorber from under the car and remove a rubber element of the lower fastening of the shock-absorber and a cup from the top part of the shock-absorber.
10. Check the shock-absorber for signs of leak of depreciation liquid. Check on all length of a rod of the shock-absorber for lack of pointed corrosion. Check the shock-absorber case for lack of mechanical damages. Install the shock-absorber in vertical position and check its work, moving a shock-absorber rod at full capacity. Also check operation of the shock-absorber, moving a shock-absorber rod up and down on distance of 50 - 100 mm. In all cases the rod of the shock-absorber has to move smoothly with a notable resistance. If the rod of the shock-absorber moves with breakthroughs or there are mechanical damages, the shock-absorber is subject to replacement.

Installation

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Check a condition of rubber elements of fastening of the back shock-absorber and, if necessary, replace them.
2. Installation is made in the sequence, the return to removal taking into account the next moments.
3. Turn the shock-absorber so that it was possible to connect an air duct of system of adjustment of rigidity of a back suspension bracket to it.
4. Tighten a bolt of fastening of the lower part of the shock-absorber the required moment.
5. On models with system the self-leveled back suspension bracket, increase in system pressure to 0,8 bars and check system for existence of leak of air.
