7.18. Quencher of fluctuations of fuel

Removal

Arrangement of a quencher of fluctuations of fuel

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Depending on model the quencher of fluctuations of fuel can be located on an arm of the fuel pump under a back part of the car or on the right side in a niche for a spare wheel or before the fuel tank (see the drawing). The quencher is established between a fuel naos and the fuel filter and is intended for reduction of fluctuations of pressure of fuel in fuel system therefore noise level decreases.
2. Remove a weight wire from the accumulator.
3. Prepare the corresponding capacity for collecting fuel which will spill at removal of a quencher of fluctuations of fuel.
4. Using clips, press hoses from two parties of a quencher of fluctuations of fuel, weaken collars and disconnect hoses from a quencher.
5. Unscrew a nut and remove a quencher of fluctuations of fuel from an arm.

Installation

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Installation is made in the sequence, the return to removal.
2. Start the engine and check fuel system for existence of leaks. In the presence of leaks immediately switch off the engine and remove the cause of leaks.
