7.6. The control unit of temperature of the air coming to the engine

GENERAL INFORMATION

On models temperature of the air coming to the engine is run with system of injection of Multec fuel by the adjustment block installed in an air chamber. At start of the cold engine the regulator is closed and depression in an inlet collector influences the valve of adjustment of air temperature in the case of the air filter. At the same time through the vacuum amplifier the folding shutter closes intake of cold air and opens air supply, warmed up by a final collector.

At temperature increase of the air coming to the engine in an air chamber the bimetallic plate is unclenched and the worked thermoswitch reduces depression in the adjusting valve. At the same time the folding shutter blocks giving in the engine of the air which is warmed up by a final collector and after warming up of the engine only fresh cold air comes to the engine.

Check

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Begin check on the cold engine. Uncover the air filter. At the same time the folding shutter has to block completely air supply, warmed up by a final collector. Start the engine, at the same time the folding shutter has to rise, blocking intake of cold air in the engine. In process of warming up of the engine the folding shutter has to fall gradually before full overlapping of a stream of the air which is warmed up by a final collector.
2. For check of a thermoswitch on the working engine disconnect from a back part of an air chamber a pipe of the vacuum adjusting valve from the switch coupling. At warming up of the engine on the coupling the depression created by an inlet collector has to be felt, and after warming up of the engine depression has to be absent.
3. For valve check of adjustment of temperature of the air coming to the engine uncover the air filter. At the same time the folding shutter has to be established in situation, I block to a neck air supply, warmed up by a final collector. Disconnect a vacuum tube of the adjusting valve from the switch coupling on a back part of an air chamber and a mouth create depression in a tube. At the same time the folding shutter has to rise, blocking a stream of the cold air coming to the engine.
4. If the adjusting valve of air temperature is faulty, it is necessary to replace the case of the air filter. At malfunction of a thermoswitch it is necessary to replace the case of an air chamber.
5. Boots of natyazhitel have to rotate freely on axes. If on them there are cracks, chips or considerable wear of a working surface, they need to be replaced.
