GENERAL INFORMATION

Prevention

For check of turns of idling and contents WITH in exhaust gases it is necessary to use a tachometer and the analyzer of exhaust gases. At installation of a casing of cooling it is necessary to use new sealing rings.


Removal

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Remove a weight wire from the accumulator.
2. On early models remove the air filter. On later models disconnect the air duct from the air filter, then disconnect a vacuum pipe and a hose of ventilation of a case from an air chamber. Unscrew three screws and remove an air chamber together with an air duct.
3. Note the provision of adjusting tags of a bimetallic casing, and at their absence put tags which need to be used for installation simplification. Unscrew three screws and remove a bimetallic casing. Move a casing aside, at the same time do not deform hoses of supply of cooling liquid and an electrical wiring of a heater of the gate.
4. Unscrew three screws of fastening of the gate to the carburetor case, then take the gate, at the same time do not bend draft of the gate.
5. Before removal of a bimetallic casing note the provision of a hose of cooling liquid of the automatic air gate for installation simplification, then disconnect hoses. Close hoses suitable traffic jams or enshrine them in the top provision for reduction of losses of cooling liquid.
6. Disconnect the electric socket from a heater of the gate and remove a bimetallic casing.
7. Unscrew the central bolt of fastening and remove a cooling casing about bimetal of a lichesky casing. Remove sealing rings from under a head of a bolt and from the cooling casing case.

Installation

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Install gate knot on the carburetor case. At the same time connect the gate lever to draft and fix by three screws.
2. Check and, if necessary, adjust a gap of the air gate and the provision of a cam of the accelerated idling turns.
3. Connect a bimetallic spring to the lever of the air gate, then establish a casing of a bimetallic spring on a casing of the automatic air gate and fix by screws, without tightening them it is final. Combine adjusting tags of a bimetallic casing with tags of a casing of the air gate and finally tighten fastening screws.
4. In the presence establish a cooling casing on a casing of a bimetallic spring. At the same time use new a sealant of Nov a ring. Connect hoses of supply of cooling liquid and the electric socket of a heater of the gate.
5. You make further installation in the sequence, the return to removal taking into account the next moments.
6. If hoses of supply of cooling liquid were disconnected check the level of cooling liquid and, at bypass pave, bring it to norm.
7. Check and, if necessary, adjust the accelerated idling turns.

PERFORMANCE ORDER

4. Turn the gate lever clockwise against the stop and an elastic band fix it in this situation.
5. Move the lever before full opening of a butterfly valve and measure a gap of the air gate between the lower party of the gate and a wall of primary camera.
If necessary adjust a gap of the air gate, turning in регулиро a vochny uvula (2). If the gap of the air gate is less than demanded, using a screw-driver edge, increase a gap "In". If the gap of the air gate is more than demanded, reduce a gap "In", using flat-nose pliers (see rice. Adjustment of a gap of the air gate).

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Remove a casing of a bimetallic spring and adjust a gap of the air gate "B".
2. Open a butterfly valve, then close the air gate, at the same time pressing a hand finger on the gate drive lever (see rice. Adjustment of a cam of the accelerated idling turns). Close a butterfly valve.
3. Check that the screw of adjustment of the accelerated turns of idling was installed on the second step of a cam of the accelerated idling turns.
4. If it is necessary to make adjustment, first of all check correctness of placement of a returnable spring of the gate, then turning in the lever, execute adjustment.
5. Establish a casing of a bimetallic spring.

THE ACCELERATED IDLING TURNS

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Check turns of idling and maintenance WITH in exhaust gases. If necessary adjust idling turns.
2. Start the engine and warm up it up to the normal working temperature, then connect a tachometer according to the maintenance instruction.
3. Install the screw of adjustment of the accelerated idling turns on the second step of a cam of the accelerated idling (see rice. Adjustment of the accelerated idling turns).
4. Start the engine and, without touching an accelerator pedal, check turns of the accelerated idling.
5. In need of adjustment switch off the engine and remove a cap from the screw of adjustment of the accelerated idling turns (see rice. Arrangement of the cap closing the screw of adjustment of the accelerated idling turns).
6. Check that the screw of adjustment of the accelerated turns of idling is installed on the cam step second from above, then start the engine, without touching an accelerator pedal.
7. Rotating the adjusting screw, establish the required turns of the accelerated idling.
8. If in the course of adjustment of the accelerated turns of idling the radiator fan turns on, stop regulir ку and continue only it after switching off of the fan of a radiator.
9. After carrying out adjustment switch off the engine and disconnect a tachometer.
10. Establish the new cap closing the screw of adjustment of the accelerated idling turns.
