SENSOR OF THE FORWARD WHEEL

Removal

PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Remove a weight wire from the accumulator.

2. In the presence take off caps of forward wheels, then weaken bolts of fastening of wheels. Tighten the emergency brake, then lift a forward part of the car and record on supports. Remove a wheel.

3. Take the electric socket of the sensor from a fastening bracket under a wheel arch, then, using the screw-driver, separate the socket (see rice. An arrangement of electric sockets of sensors of a forward wheel on model with the DOHC engine).

4. Unscrew a bolt, the fixing ABS sensor to an arm, and remove the sensor from an arm (see rice. An arrangement of a bolt of fastening of the ABS sensor to an arm). Remove a sealant of Nov a ring.

Installation

PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Check a condition of a sealing ring and, if necessary replace it.

2. Installation is made in the sequence, the return to removal taking into account the next moments.

3. Before installation of the sensor on an arm grease the sensor case with a thin layer of lubricant.

4. Check that the control lamp of ABS dies away at once after start of the engine.

SENSOR OF THE BACK WHEEL

PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Remove a weight wire from the accumulator.

2. In the presence take off a cap of a back wheel, then weaken bolts of fastening of a wheel. Lift a back part of the car and record on supports. Remove a back wheel.

3. Take the electric socket of the sensor from a fastening bracket on a back part of the bottom of the car, then separate the electric socket (see rice. An arrangement of electric sockets of ABS sensors of back wheels on the body bottom on models with DOHC engines).

4. Note an arrangement of an electrical wiring of the sensor and take it from fastening brackets.

5. Unscrew a bolt, the fixing ABS sensor to the longitudinal lever of a back suspension bracket or an arm, and remove the sensor (see rice. An arrangement of the ABS sensor of a back wheel on models with DOHC engines). Remove a sealing ring.
