12.9. Sealing ring of an entrance shaft of the transmission

GENERAL INFORMATION

Prevention

At installation it is necessary to use a new sealing ring of the directing plug of the release bearing.

Removal

PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Remove the release bearing and a fork of switching off of coupling.

2. Unscrew bolts and remove a guide of the plug of the release bearing from a coupling case. Remove a sealant of Nov the ring located between the directing plug and a case of coupling.

3. Using a screw-driver edge as the lever, remove a sealing ring from the directing plug of the release bearing.

Installation

PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Using a tubular mandrel of the corresponding diameter, install a new sealing ring in the directing plug.

2. Fill space between working edges of a new sealing ring lithium lubricant, then install the directing plug with a new sealing ring, without using lubricant.

3. Install the release bearing and a fork of switching off of coupling.
