1.3.2.19. Driving belt of the pump of the amplifier of steering

GENERAL INFORMATION

Prevention

For check of a tension of a driving belt of the pump of the amplifier of steering it is necessary to use a special template.

Check

The tension of a belt is regulated by change of length of carving draft. The deflection of a belt has to make 10 mm when pressing by a thumb on a belt between pulleys. At an excessive tension of a belt the pump of the amplifier of steering can fail.

PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Check a condition of a belt on all length and replace it in the presence of damages or wear.

Adjustment

Arrangement of carving draft for adjustment of a tension of a belt of the pump of the amplifier of steering

PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Weaken the regulator and assembly bolts.

2. Weaken nuts of the regulator and an otregula to a ruyta length of carving draft (see the drawing).

3. Tighten nuts of the regulator and assembly bolts the required moment.

4. At installation of a new belt through several honeycombs of kilometers repeatedly check its tension.
