8.5. EGR valve (Simtec system)

GENERAL INFORMATION

Prevention

At installation of the valve it is necessary to use new laying.

Removal

PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Remove a weight wire from the accumulator.

2. Remove a plait of wires and a vacuum hose.

3. Note a valve arrangement for the correct repeated installation it into place.

4. Unscrew three bolts and remove the valve from a flange of cooling of the dual coil of ignition.

Installation

Simtec system EGR valve

1 – valve;

2 – laying

PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Clear the interfaced surfaces of a flange and the valve.

2. Install the valve according to the tags put before removal of the valve (see the drawing).
