6.6. Removal and installation of the fuel pump

Removal

Detachment of a fuel hose from the fuel pump on model of 1,6 l

PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. The fuel pump is located in the right back part of a cover of a head of the block of cylinders.

2. Remove a weight wire from the accumulator.

3. Disconnect fuel hoses from the fuel pump (see rice. A detachment of a fuel hose from the fuel pump on model of 1,6 l). If necessary mark hoses and close them the corresponding traffic jams.

4. Unscrew two bolts and remove the fuel pump from a cover of a head of the block of cylinders (see rice. Removal of the fuel pump on models of 1,6 l).

5. Remove the plastic sealing block.

Removal

PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Installation is made in the sequence, the return to removal. Check correctness of connection of fuel hoses. Tighten bolts of fastening of the fuel pump the required moment.

2. Start the engine and check fuel system for existence of leaks. In the presence of leaks immediately switch off the engine and eliminate leak. At installation of the fuel pump start of the engine can longer last usual.
