1.3.3.7. Check of a gear belt (diesel engines)

PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Remove the top and lower casings of a gear belt. For this purpose unscrew screws, release clamps and disconnect an air branch pipe from a cover of an air chamber. Unscrew nuts of fastening and having pressed clamps disconnect an inlet air branch pipe and remove an air chamber.

2. Remove fastening of a vacuum tube of the vacuum amplifier of brakes from a casing and take a tube from the vacuum amplifier of brakes.

3. Unscrew 9 bolts and remove the top casing of a gear belt.

4. Turning a bent shaft of the engine, check a condition of a gear belt on all length.
