18:54. Speedometer drive cable

Removal

Arrangement of the adjusting plug of fastening of a cable of the drive of a speedometer to the transmission on models with SOHC engines

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Remove a combination of devices.
2. Take a speedometer drive cable through a partition in a motor compartment.
3. In a motor compartment unscrew установоч the ny plug and disconnect a speedometer drive cable from the transmission (see the drawing).
4. Take a speedometer drive cable from a motor compartment.

Installation

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Installation is made in the sequence, the return to removal. Check that the speedometer drive cable between a partition of a motor compartment and a combination of devices was not overwound or pressed. Keep in mind that the cable of the drive of a speedometer has to settle down to the right of an arm of a steering column.
