16.3. Replacement of the bearing of a forward wheel

Removal

Expression of a nave of a forward wheel from the bearing

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Remove a rack of a forward suspension bracket together with a rotary fist.
2. Unscrew the screw and remove a brake disk from a nave.
3. For extraction of a nave from a rotary fist use a press and a tubular mandrel of the corresponding diameter. Establish a rotary fist on steel cores by inside up and, using a metal mandrel, squeeze out a nave from hug bearings (see rice. Expression of a nave of a forward wheel from the bearing).
4. Using a stripper, remove an internal ring of the bearing from a nave (see rice. Removal internal a bearing ring from a nave).
5. Unscrew three screws and remove a protective board of a brake disk from a rotary fist (see rice. Unscrewing of the screw of fastening of a protective board of a brake disk).
6. Remove the lock rings fixing an external ring of the bearing from a rotary fist (see rice. Removal of the lock ring fixing an external ring of the bearing).
7. Opiry an internal part of a rotary fist on supports and using a tubular mandrel of the corresponding diameter, squeeze out an external ring of the bearing from a rotary fist.

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Clear a nave and a rotary fist of dirt, and lubricant. Establish an external lock ring of fastening of the bearing (see rice. Arrangement of the hug bearing of a forward wheel). Keep in mind that uvulas of a lock ring have to be turned to the basis of a rotary fist.
2. Reliably fix a rotary fist on supports and install on it the bearing. You make installation of the bearing with use of a tubular mandrel which has to press on an external ring of the bearing. The bearing install against the stop it in an external lock ring (see rice. Installation of the hug bearing of a forward wheel from an ispolzov niy a tubular mandrel, a nut, a bolt and washers of the corresponding diameter).
3. Establish an internal lock ring of the bearing that uvulas of a lock ring were turned to the basis of a rotary fist.
4. Establish a protective board of a brake disk.
5. Install a nave in the bearing. At the same time use a tubular mandrel which presses on an internal ring of the bearing. The nave press fitting in the bearing can be made with use of a long bolt, nut and washers of the corresponding diameter (see rice. 6. Establish a brake disk.
7. Install a rack of a forward suspension bracket with a rotary fist on the car.
