GENERAL INFORMATION

The torque from the engine on forward wheels is transmitted through two entrance power shafts. On the ends of power shafts hinges of equal angular speeds are installed (CV JOINTS). On a number of models the right power shaft consists of two parts: a power shaft with two CV JOINTS and an intermediate shaft. The intermediate shaft is supported by the bearing which is installed on the arm fixed on a back part of the block of cylinders.

On both ends of power shafts there are vents. The internal ends of power shafts fasten in differential lock rings, and the external ends fasten nuts to naves of forward wheels.

Length of the right power shaft is more, than left. On the right power shaft the quencher of fluctuations can be established.
