Removal

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Put the tag on a flywheel which is combined with a groove in a coupling casing. Gradually in the diagonal sequence weaken bolts of fastening of the leading knot of coupling, turning each bolt on a half of a turn until it is terminated springs and bolts can be unscrewed manually.
2. Remove the leading part of coupling and a clutch plate. Note that the smaller ledge of a nave of a clutch plate is directed to a flywheel.
3. Check a condition of elements of coupling for signs of wear and damages as it is described in the previous section.

Installation

Groove arrangement in a coupling casing which has to be combined with a tag on a flywheel

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. It is recommended to install first of all in the car the engine, and then to install coupling on the engine.
2. Check that on an overlay of a clutch plate and a surface of a press disk and a flywheel oil or other lubricant did not get. Wipe a surface of a flywheel and a press disk with pure rags, and you make installation of coupling clean hands.
3. Establish a clutch plate on a flywheel, at the same time the smaller ledge of a nave of a clutch plate has to be directed to a flywheel.
4. Establish the leading part of coupling on a flywheel, combining a tag on a flywheel with a groove in a coupling casing (see the drawing). Screw in six bolts of fastening of the leading part of coupling and tighten them manually so that the clutch plate was pressed but, nevertheless, it could be moved.
5. Using a mandrel, center a clutch plate. As a mandrel it is possible to use an old entrance shaft of the transmission.
6. Gradually in the diagonal sequence tighten the required moment bolts of fastening of the leading part of coupling to a flywheel. Remove a mandrel for centering of a clutch plate. Apply a thin film of lubricant on clutch plate vents. The layer of lubricant has to be thin and uniform, otherwise during the coupling work excessive lubricant will be rejected on the working surfaces of coupling and can break coupling work.
7. Install the transmission on the car.
8. Check and, if necessary, adjust a coupling cable.
