10:23. Repair of the distributor of ignition

10.23.1. Model 14 NV



Before repair of the distributor of ignition specify existence and cost of spare parts. Count that, can be to replace the ignition distributor assembled cheaper, than to repair it.


1. Remove the ignition distributor.
2. Remove a rotor of the distributor and the plastic screen.
3. Unscrew two screws and remove the top basic plate. As spare parts to the distributor of ignition only the vacuum regulator of a corner of an advancing of ignition is delivered. Also it is not required to make adjustment of the distributor of ignition.
4. If necessary, unscrew two screws and remove the vacuum regulator of a corner of an advancing of ignition, previously having disconnected draft of the regulator from a basic plate. Note an arrangement of screws as they have various length because longer screw fixes one of brackets of fastening of a cover of the distributor of ignition.


1. Check the vacuum regulator, creating in it depression. At the same time draft of the regulator has to move inside. After vacuum removal draft has to return to a starting position. If draft does not move as it is required, replace the vacuum regulator of an advancing of ignition.
2. Check a condition of a cover of the distributor of ignition for existence of corrosion of contacts, black paths between contacts, and also integrity and smoothness of movement of coal contact in the center of a cover. With defects replace an ignition distributor cover.
3. Check a state and fastening of metal contact of a rotor of the distributor. If the contact burned or its fastening weakened, replace a distributor rotor. In the presence, remove a deposit and traces of corrosion from contact, using a small file.
4. Check a condition of a sealing ring in a back part of the distributor of ignition and, if necessary, replace it.


1. Assembly is made in the sequence, the return dismantling. Check correctness and reliability of fastening of thirst of the vacuum regulator for a basic plate.
2. Install the ignition distributor. Then check and if it is necessary, adjust an ignition advancing corner.
