10:14. BOSCH generator

GENERAL INFORMATION

Measurement of length of brushes of the BOSCH generator

Removal

Unscrewing of screws of fastening of the brush holder / regulator of tension

Removal of the brush holder / regulator of tension from the BOSCH generator

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. For improvement of access disconnect the main air branch pipe from the air filter, an air chamber or the case of a throttle.
2. Remove a weight wire from the accumulator.
3. For improvement of access it is recommended to remove the generator.
4. Unscrew two screws and remove tension brush holder/regulator (see rice. Unscrewing of screws of fastening of the brush holder/regulator of tension, Removal of the brush holder/regulator of tension from the BOSCH generator).
5. Check smoothness of movement of brushes in guides and measure length of brushes.
6. Unsolder wires of brushes from the brush holder and remove brushes.

Installation

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. At installation of new brushes it is also necessary to establish also new springs.
2. Establish new springs in направля yushchy the brush holder, then insert new brushes and check smoothness of their movement. If brushes move hardly or jam, using a small file, cut their side sides.
3. Solder wires of brushes to the brush holder. At the soldering you watch that solder was only in the place of the soldering and did not get on a twisted wire of a brush.
4. Check a condition of contact rings of the generator and if necessary, smooth out them a small emery paper (see rice. Arrangement of contact rings of the BOSCH generator).
5. Install the brush holder/regulator of tension and fix by screws.
6. Install the generator.
7. Connect a weight wire to the accumulator.
8. Establish the main air branch pipe.
